Hydrogenating CM-UC3M was privileged to participate in the renowned AIAA AVIATION Conference held in San Diego (USA). Amidst a vibrant gathering of aviation enthusiasts, researchers, and industry leaders, Raรบl Quibรฉn, a dedicated member of the research team, had the opportunity to present a groundbreaking conference paper titled “๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐๐๐) – ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ”, supervised by Rauno Cavallaro, Andrea Cini, and Manuel Soler.
The aviation industry has been earnestly exploring alternative energy sources to minimise its environmental impact. Among the most promising solutions is hydrogen, a long-term sustainable fuel that offers the potential for reduced emissions. In this work, a new platform meant for the design and optimisation of H2-powered airliners was introduced. During the conference presentation, Raรบl Quibรฉn showcased the potential of the platform by demonstrating its capabilities in the context of retrofitting an existing aircraft with hydrogen technology.
The event not only allowed Quibรฉn to share their research findings but also provided a unique opportunity to connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts and contribute to the collective efforts in creating a more sustainable future.
